Dr. Isabel Wylie grew up in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor's degree in microbiology with an honors in research from University of Rochester. While originally in Rochester for school Dr. Wylie became involved in dog rescue in the area. Dr. Wylie attended veterinary school at University of Pennsylvania. After veterinary school, she returned to Rochester and completed a one year rotating small animal internship at the former Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services in Henrietta.
After completing her internship, Dr. Wylie entered general practice where her professional interests include dermatology, behavior and incorporating Fear Free techniques into every day practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Wylie shares her heart with her partner, two dogs (Adele and Sagan) and cat (Monster). Her home has also been opened up to various foster animals as they find their way to their forever home. She spends much of her free time training and hiking with her dogs. She also enjoys cooking, reading, crafting, exploring the Rochester food scene and playing a variety of board games with friends!
